Arts Tale

Programs and Services

ReRooted: The Living Art Lab

ReRooted is a Arts Tale initiative that partners with local nurseries to rescue plants and materials that would otherwise be discarded. Volunteers, artists, and students transform these rescued resources into living sculptures, eco-printing projects, and educational workshops that connect creativity with environmental care. All plants are collected locally and repurposed through sustainable practices — composting, propagation, and reuse in community art installations. The program offers hands-on experiences for students and gardeners while supporting sustainability and creative collaboration in the Sierra Foothills.

Artist Empowerment and Resource Access

Our program is designed to support artists and grassroots arts organizations by providing the tools, training, and resources they need to overcome challenges and thrive in today’s artistic landscape. With a focus on capacity building and community integration, we aim to amplify the impact of creative leaders and foster sustainable growth within the arts sector.

Key features include a centralized online portal with updated funding opportunities, grant-writing workshops, an artist roster to showcase talent, and a curated call list connecting artists to performance venues and funding organizations.

Through mentorship, education, and networking, we bridge the gap between artists and resources, empowering them to achieve their goals and make a lasting impact in their communities.

Financial Literacy and Tax Services for Creatives

This service is designed to empower artists, performers, and creative entrepreneurs with essential financial skills and tax knowledge to enhance their professional and personal stability. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by creatives, we provide tailored guidance to help them navigate the complexities of managing finances and fulfilling tax obligations in a way that aligns with their artistic goals.

Transcultural Performance Network

The Transcultural Performance Network is a transformative initiative designed to foster cross-cultural collaboration and create equitable opportunities for U.S. and international artists. Anchored by the World Stage Exchange, the program connects artists with meaningful partnerships, artist residencies, and a geographically diverse performance network, allowing them to share their work with global audiences and engage in cultural dialogue.

A central focus of this initiative is providing equitable opportunities for underrepresented artists to participate in international exchanges. We believe in the value of diverse voices and perspectives and are committed to ensuring that artists from all backgrounds have access to resources, platforms, and opportunities that allow their creativity to flourish.

By offering funding, logistical support, and access to a network of artist-centered presenting organizations, the Transcultural Performance Network addresses barriers that limit participation and empowers artists to thrive. This program ensures inclusivity, sustainability, and innovation within the global arts ecosystem while strengthening cultural understanding and enriching communities worldwide.
